RIFA announces the launch of the session for receiving funding requests for projects to create or modernize agricultural access infrastructure and basic road infrastructure in rural areas, as well as for the installation of young farmers.
These financing lines are part of the interventions DR 27 – Creation/modernization of agricultural access infrastructure, for DR 28 – Creation/modernization of basic road infrastructure in rural areas, as well as for DR 30 – Support for the installation of young farmers, within the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy 2023 – 2027 (PS PAC 2027).
Potential beneficiaries can submit funding applications starting on November 2, 2023, 09:00 a.m. through the Agency's official website - www.afir.ro. The deadline for receiving funding applications is February 29, 2024 for public utility projects, and for the installation of young farmers, the deadline is January 31, 2024.
"We are opening the first sessions for receiving funding requests from the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy 2023-2027, with funds of 100 million euros available for agricultural roads, over 200 million euros for communal roads and over 250 of millions of euros for the installation of young farmers. The important thing is that the territorial administrative units, communes or young farmers, potential beneficiaries of the financing that we open, now have 100% non-refundable financing at their disposal. Public utility projects can benefit from up to 1 million euros for investments, and young farmers can get 70,000 euros to set up on the farm. These funds are clearly a starting point for projects that must ensure the sustainable development of the rural environment," said George CHIRIȚĂ, the general director of RIFA..
The funds available for the first session of funding requests related to the DR-27 intervention are in the amount of €100,000,000, for the DR-28 intervention in the amount of €200,988,235 and for the DR-30 intervention in the amount of €250,691,764, broken down separately for the national component (€175,484,235) and for the mountain area (€75,207,529).
Investment projects proposed through funding applications submitted to RIFA must fall within a minimum quality threshold of 90 points for public utility projects (DR-27 and DR-28) and 85 points for young farmers' projects ( DR-30). In each monthly period within the session the quality thresholds will drop to a minimum of 30 points for DR-28 and DR-30, respectively 40 points for DR-27.
Funding applications are submitted on www.afir.ro and also here, in the Funding section, the applicant's Guides and related annexes are published, necessary for the preparation of documentation in order to submit funding applications.
