RIFA launches, starting from November 2, 2023, the first sessions for receiving funding requests for investments in agriculture and for the development of rural infrastructure, with funds available through the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy 2023 – 2027 (PS PAC 2027).
Thus, the submission session for the projects financed by the interventions of DR 27 – Creation/modernization of agricultural access infrastructure and DR 28 – Creation/modernization of basic road infrastructure in rural areas takes place between November 2, 2023 and February 29, 2024. Financial allocation for DR 27 is 100,000,000 euros, and for DR 28 funds in the amount of 200,988,235 euros are available.
Funding requests for DR 30 – Support for the installation of young farmers are submitted online between November 2 and January 31, 2024, with available funds of 250,691,764 euros, divided as follows: the national component 175,484,235 euros and the mountain area component 75,207. 529 euros.
"The funds granted for the construction, expansion, modernization of agricultural roads to farms through the DR-27 intervention, as well as for the construction, expansion, modernization of local interest road networks through the DR-28 intervention are 100% non-refundable, and the maximum amount granted for a project reaches 1,000,000 euros. For young farmers, funding through the DR-30 intervention is also 100% non-refundable. Farmers who act in their own name and are organized as a micro-enterprise or as a small enterprise can benefit from these funds (example: PFA, II, IF). I can access the DR-30 intervention and legal entities where a young farmer settles and exercises effective control in terms of making decisions regarding the management of the agricultural holding. The value of the support that a young farmer can get is 70,000 euros" said George CHIRIȚĂ, General Director of RIFA.
We specify that the minimum project selection threshold is 40 points for the DR-27 intervention and 30 points for DR-28 and DR-30. Also, the monthly quality threshold for the first submission stage (November 2023) is 90 points for DR-27 and DR-28 interventions and 85 points for DR-30. The quality thresholds gradually decrease monthly, until the minimum threshold.
