RIFA announces the launch of the session for receiving funding requests for the settlement of crop, animal and plant insurance premiums through submeasure 17.1 of the National Rural Development Program 2014-2020.

Farmers can submit financing applications starting on October 2, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. until the deadline of December 15, 2023, at 4:00 p.m.

The funds available for the fifth session related to submeasure 17.1 – Insurance premiums for crops, animals and plants amount to 21,378,798 euros, with the possibility of supplementing it depending on the interest shown by the applicants.

The non-refundable support granted under this financing line is 70% of the value of the eligible insurance premium actually paid by the farmer.

In this session, funding applications related to the plant sector (for policies concluded for autumn crops from 2022 and for spring crops from 2023) and the livestock sector (for policies concluded in 2023) can be submitted.
